When a man came to his house, his wife said to him, “Cut down the tree near our bathroom. I am not proud of the sight of birds while bathing.” And the time passed when the tree was cut down. One day, out of the ordinary, he suddenly came home and saw his wife engaged with a non-male.
He left home and went to Baghdad to start his own business. God blessed the business, and thanks to his prolific work, he became one of the leading citizens of Baghdad. He even gained access to Baghdad Kotwal.
One day the house of Kotwal was burglarized. The police tried hard to trace and apprehend the culprit but failed. But one thing he did not understand was that the Sheikh walks on half a foot. Why don’t he keep his whole foot on the ground. When he asked someone the reason, he was told: They do not keep their feet on the ground so as not to be crushed by insects. The man immediately went to Kotwal and said:
That your theft was committed by the same Sheikh. When the investigation was carried out, the stolen property was recovered from the same Sheikh. Kotwal said in surprise: We never thought that this Sheikh could do that. How did you know? The man said there was a tree in my house
The one who advised me that people who try to look more good than necessary are usually not good. Relatives and even family members seek asylum.

ایک آدمی اس کے گھر آیا تو اس کی بیوی نے اس سے کہا کہ ہمارے غسل خانے کے پاس کا درخت کاٹ دو، مجھے نہاتے ہوئے پرندوں کے نظر آنے پر فخر نہیں ہے۔ اور وہ وقت گزر گیا جب درخت کاٹا گیا۔ ایک دن وہ معمول سے ہٹ کر اچانک گھر آیا اور دیکھا کہ اس کی بیوی ایک غیر مرد سے منگنی کر رہی ہے۔
اس نے گھر چھوڑا اور اپنا کاروبار شروع کرنے کے لیے بغداد چلا گیا۔ خدا نے کاروبار میں برکت دی، اور اپنے شاندار کام کی بدولت وہ بغداد کے سرکردہ شہریوں میں سے ایک بن گیا۔ یہاں تک کہ اس نے بغداد کوتوال تک رسائی حاصل کی۔
ایک دن کوتوال کے گھر چوری ہو گئی۔ پولیس نے ملزم کو پکڑنے کی بہت کوشش کی لیکن ناکام رہی۔ لیکن ایک بات اس کی سمجھ میں نہیں آئی کہ شیخ آدھے پاؤں پر چلتے ہیں۔ وہ اپنا پورا پاؤں زمین پر کیوں نہیں رکھتا؟ جب اس نے کسی سے وجہ پوچھی تو اسے بتایا گیا: وہ اپنے پاؤں زمین پر نہیں رکھتے تاکہ کیڑے مکوڑوں سے کچل نہ جائیں۔ وہ شخص فوراً کوتوال کے پاس گیا اور کہا۔
کہ تمہاری چوری اسی شیخ نے کی تھی۔ تفتیش کی گئی تو اسی شیخ سے مسروقہ مال برآمد ہوا۔ کوتوال نے حیرت سے کہا: ہم نے کبھی نہیں سوچا تھا کہ یہ شیخ ایسا کر سکتا ہے۔ آپکو کیسے پتا چلا؟ آدمی نے کہا کہ میرے گھر میں ایک درخت تھا۔
جس نے مجھے مشورہ دیا کہ جو لوگ ضرورت سے زیادہ اچھے نظر آنے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں وہ عام طور پر اچھے نہیں ہوتے۔ رشتہ دار اور یہاں تک کہ خاندان کے افراد بھی پناہ مانگتے ہیں۔
ایسے کرداروں کے ساتھ اکثر ایسا ہوتا ہے کہ اگر کوئی معمولی جھگڑا ہو جائے تو وہ اپنی کوتاہیوں پر اتر آتے ہیں۔ اللہ ہم سب کا حامی و ناصر ہو۔
