A butcher of Bani Israel became hopelessly enamored with his neighbor’s house keeper

All commendation is for Allah, Ruler of all that exists. O Allah, send petitions and salutaions upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, his friends, and every one of the individuals who follow his direction until the Last Day.

Allah said:

Say: “O my Workers who have violated against their spirits! Despair not of the Leniency of Allah: for Allah excuses all transgressions: for He is Oft-Lenient, Generally Tolerant.

[az-Zumar : 53]
To be sure, Allah has opened the entryway of apology to each heathen. The Prophet said,

“Gracious individuals, atone to Allah, for sure, I apologize to Allah multiple times consistently”

[Muslim : 2702]
It is genuinely uplifting to realize that the way to contrition is dependably open, however furthermore, Allah is really blissful when one of His slaves atones. It is vital to note here that the keys to contrition are that a heathen should abandon from his transgression, feel lament for having executed it, and afterward make a firm determination not to get back to it.

Who among us doesn’t sin? Also, who among us does everything necessary of him in the religion? It’s undeniably true that we as a whole have deficiencies; what recognizes a few of us from the others, what raises a few of us over the others, is that the effective ones among us are the individuals who apologize their transgressions and request that Allah excuse them. Unfortunately,

certain individuals are at real fault for thinking thusly: “Those I see around me execute minor sins, while I’m at legitimate fault for executing significant sins, so what is the utilization of atoning?!” Valid, such an individual truly does well by seeing a problem with his own self, yet he makes a grave,

ruinous blunder when he loses trust, when he misjudges Allah’s Absolution and Kindness. Certainly, the entryway of contrition is open both to the culprit of minor sins and to the culprit of significant sins.

With respect to repentence, the accompanying lovely hadith ought to move trust in every one of us:

Ibn Mas’ud portrayed that the Prophet said

“To be sure, Allah is more content with the contrition of His slave than an in a fruitless, desolate man stops in a fruitless, barren land; with him he has his riding creature. He then, at that point, falls asleep. At the point when he awakens, [he acknowledges that] his mount is no more. He looks for it until he is very nearly passing on. According to he then, ‘I will get back to the spot wherein I lost it, and I will pass on there.

He went to that spot, and he was then overwhelmed by rest. At the point when he awakened, his mount was [standing] right adjacent to his head: on it was his food, his beverage, his arrangements, and the things he neded. Allah is more content with the atonement of his trusting slave than the previously mentioned man when he tracks down his mount and his arrangements.”
