I had the privilege of doing an interview with Salini Apodaca, author of Emerging from the Matrix. Salini is a spiritual teacher and Reiki master who studied Reiki with Hawayo Takata, the first woman to bring Reiki to the western world and be initiated as a Reiki Grand Master in the lineage of Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki.
“Times seem to be quite turbulent for many people who are experiencing a lot of energetic changes both personally and globally. Many are having difficulty sleeping or have a lot of anxiety. There’s also a lot of fear that seems to be rising up to the surface. What’s going on, Salini?”
“What’s happening is something that has never before occurred in global history – our planet is experiencing a massive spiritual awakening. We’ve been building towards this for six billion years. In the last 150 years we’ve had a lot of advancement in human consciousness.
We had the industrial revolution, followed by the technological revolution, which radically changed our world. Now we’re in the midst of a spiritual revolution. The moment has finally arrived – the whole world is waking up! As this occurs, we are seeing greater transformation of all the systems and technology towards humanitarian purposes.
We’re currently witnessing the darkness surfacing, but at the same time, the light is also surfacing. The process of the darkness surfacing looks bad – there’s war and death and a lot of deprivation, but it’s really the wound of the earth cleansing itself. As this happens you’re going to see more and more of the hundredth monkey effect; more and more people will start waking up. And when they wake up, they help other people to wake up,” said Salini with conviction in her voice
